About Margaret Bernier
Margaret A. Bernier is an accomplished painter of marine and landscapes of the New England region. Born and raised in the Chicago area, she received her earliest education in the fine arts through the Art Institute of Chicago. Margaret began painting actively in 2000, taking instruction from Enrico Donati. More recently, she has studied with Kevin Shea, a Copley Society Master.
Bernier’s interest in painting is rooted in the works of the late 19th and 20th century American Impressionist Masters of the New England Region. Margaret is an active member of the Newburyport Art Association, and has participated in a number of one-person and group shows, including:
